TITLES from Bernadine Evaristo, Margaret Atwood, John Le Carre and many more are available to borrow from Leicester’s libraries as part of the Big Jubilee Read.

The Big Jubilee Read – organised by the BBC and the Reading Agency – is a reading for pleasure campaign celebrating great reads from celebrated authors.

Authors have been selected from across the Commonwealth to coincide with Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee. The 70 titles selected consist of 10 books from each decade of Her Majesty The Queen's reign, brought together in an inspiring selection of beautiful and thrilling writing.

Borrowers can view all of the Big Jubilee Read titles and check availability on the Leicester Libraries online catalogue, at bookfinder.leicester.gov.uk

A number of the titles are also available for free loans as ebooks or audiobooks, through the Leicester Libraries OverDrive and BorrowBox pages – see leicester.gov.uk/libraries for details on how to access them.

Leicester Libraries are also celebrating Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with lots of displays, events and activities – ask at your local library to find out what’s happening near you.
