Published on Wednesday, November 9, 2016

LOCAL housing landlords will get the chance to find out about issues affecting the private renting sector at Leicester’s next Landlords Forum meeting.

The forum, which is organised by Leicester City Council, takes place at City Hall, 115 Charles Street, on Monday, 28 November, from 10am to 1pm.

Landlords can meet staff from the council’s revenues and benefits service and housing teams, among others, in an informal environment.

There will also be a chance to find out about important issues affecting the private rented sector, including Universal Credit and welfare reform changes, the benefits of Clockwise accounts, energy efficiency ratings, fire safety and tips to combat Japanese knotweed.

The event is free to attend but places must be booked in advance. To register, or for more information, email
