Published on Wednesday, February 1, 2017

HUNDREDS of toy steam engines will be on display at Leicester's Abbey Pumping Station on Sunday (5 February).

The toys – including engines, boats and trains – will be on show as part of the annual Steam Toys in Action event.

The museum’s collection of heritage vehicles will also be on display, and its café will be open for light refreshments.

Now in its 27th year, Steam Toys in Action will take place between 1pm and 5pm on Sunday.

Admission is £3 for adults, with no charge for accompanied children. A small charge will be made for rides on the narrow gauge railway.

For more information, call the Abbey Pumping Station on 0116 299 5111.
