Black tie dinner to raise money for Lord Mayor's charity

A CHARITY black tie dinner to raise money for the Lord Mayor’s appeal will take place later this month. 

Leicester Lord Mayor Cllr Stephen Corrall is hosting the prestigious event at the Great Central Railway in Great Central Road, Loughborough, on Friday, March 24, from 6.45pm.

Guest will meet at the heritage railway’s Loughborough station, before joining the Lord Mayor for the black tie dinner on one of the GCR’s vintage train coaches.

Tickets for the black tie dinner cost £60, with money raised being donated to the Leicester Children’s Holiday Centre (Mablethorpe) which provides free seaside holidays for children from the city.
