JOB vacancies and training opportunities will be on offer at a job fair in New Parks in Leicester next week.

Both local and national employers will be showcasing their current vacancies at the event at the New Parks Club 4 Young People on Tuesday (28 February).

More than 30 organisations have already confirmed their attendance, including Leicestershire Police and Leicester City Football Club.

Vacancies are suitable for all age groups, with apprenticeships and both full-time and part-time roles available.

Support services and training providers, including the Leicester Adult Education College and The Prince’s Trust, will also take part.

Assistant city mayor Cllr Danny Myers said: “Job fairs are a great way to find out about the jobs and opportunities that are available to you, without the need for a formal appointment or a ton of paperwork.

“Pop in to the New Parks Club 4 Young People on Tuesday and explore what’s out there with someone who can help.”

No booking is required and people can drop in to the job fair any time between 10am and 2pm on Tuesday 28 February.

The New Parks Club 4 Young People is located on New Parks Boulevard, Leicester LE3 9SB.

The community job fair is a partnership between the New Parks Club 4 Young People, Leicester City Council, the New Parks Team Hub Community Interest Company (CIC), the Leicester Employment Hub and the Department for Work and Pensions.
